The UFC welterweight championship will be on the line when Robbie Lawler defends his title against Tyron Woodley. After completing one of the sport’s greatest comeback stories when he defeated Johny Hendricks for the UFC welterweight title in December of 2014, Lawler has since defended his crown twice with epic wins over Rory MacDonald and Carlos Condit. Missouri’s Woodley may be Lawler’s toughest test yet, having won four of his last five fights, with stoppages of Condit, Josh Koscheck and Dong Hyun Kim.

Catch all the action of UFC 201 live at Lagerfield from 10am, with the main event starting at 12pm. UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler puts his 170-pound title on the line against Tyron Woodley.
“I don’t know who yet,” White said of Lawler’s opponent, “but more than likely going to be [Tyron] Woodley.”
Woodley (15-3), a former Strikeforce welterweight title contender, hasn’t fought since January 2016, when he defeated Kelvin Gastelum. The American Top Team product was slated to meet Johny Hendricks last October, but the former champion was removed from UFC 192 due to weight cut issues. Woodley currently holds a 5-2 UFC record with wins over Gastelum, Dong Hyun Kim, Condit, Josh Koscheck and Jay Hieron.
